Yes. While weddings are our specialty, we also bring live illustration to birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, showers, corporate gatherings, holiday soirées, and brand activations.
We arrive approximately 45 minutes prior to your event for set-up and reference photos. As the celebration unfolds, illustrations are created in real time. Completed portraits are presented in protective sleeves, ready for guests to take home as treasured mementos.
Our atelier requires one large table (ideally 6 feet) and two chairs, positioned near lighting and a power source. We will coordinate with your venue to ensure the perfect set-up that complements your celebration’s flow.
Not at all. Guests simply pause for a quick reference photo and then may return to the festivities. They can watch the creative process—or continue celebrating until their portrait is ready.
On average, each illustration takes 8–10 minutes, though some may require slightly more time depending on detail.
Our goal is to complete as many portraits as possible during the reserved timeframe. Should additional portraits remain unfinished, they can be completed in the studio and delivered post-event.

Yes. We offer bespoke illustration collections to honor your bridesmaids—whether as a “Will you be my bridesmaid?” proposal or as an elegant thank-you gift. Choose individual portraits or a group illustration, with copies presented to each bridesmaid.
A non-refundable 50% retainer is required at the time of booking to reserve your date. The balance is due six weeks before the event. The retainer covers your chosen collection, travel expenses (if applicable), and any special requests.
We are based in Chicago and offer a complimentary travel radius of up to 50 miles (or one hour). Beyond this, travel is billed per mile, with additional considerations for venues exceeding 2.5 hours. We are delighted to travel nationally and internationally for destination events.
Yes. We are available for select destination events worldwide. Travel fees include costs for myself and an assistant, as well as flights, accommodations, transfers, and additional travel time.
